The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands presented an Unsung Hero Award to Susan Galanopoulos at its meeting on May 30, 2025. This award is given by the club to Lake Highlands residents who go out of their way to serve our community with no expectation of public recognition or reward.

Susan is the Kaycee Club employee who opens the Kaycee Club and coordinates the breakfast service for the Exchange Club’s weekly meetings. Each week, she arrives early in the morning and is consistently helpful and positive. Numerous Exchange Club members have commented on Susan’s cheerful attitude and how she brightens their mornings, while helping ensure that breakfast is served timely and the coffee carafes remain full. The Exchange Club truly appreciates Susan’s valuable contributions to our meetings and thanks her for her many years of service. We look forward to her continued presence and assistance at our breakfast meetings.
