On Sept. 14, we met at the Lake Highlands High School Student Center at 7:00AM for the first Student of the Month and Character Counts program of the 2018-19 school year. Congratulations to our student award recipients Will Haskins and Daisha Watkins (Youth of the Month) and Albert Garay and Natalia Ibarra (Character Counts.) They impressed all in attendance and are certainly deserving honorees! We extend our thanks to their families, teachers, coaches, and administrators for their guidance in these students’ lives. Special thanks also go out to Sherry Hicks, Robin Finklea, and Principal Delich for hosting the club and identifying and assisting with the recognition of the students.
