Last Thursday evening 10/17/19, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Adam McGough, Former Park Board President Bobby Abtahi, and Dallas Regional Chamber Senior Vice President Scott Goldstein provided an informative and entertaining look behind the curtain at their unique experiences in Dallas city government and local politics. Topics ranged from City Council elections and personalities to the quirks of a certain former Mayor. Adam, Bobby and Scott have already made their marks on the City of Dallas and Lake Highlands has certainly benefited from their service. Their takeaway message was that, even in a city the size of Dallas, it is relatively easy to get involved at a high level if you just take the first step. If you were unable to attend, we’re positive you’ll have another opportunity in the not too distant future to hear more from Adam, Bobby and Scott about their goods work in our community.
